Chaitri Navratri

This navratri falls in Chaitra mahina or 11^th April to 20^th April. People do aaradhna, puja or anushthan of any of the Goddessess like Goddess Laxmi, Goddess Saraswati, Amba ma etc. This is done for 9 days.

When anushthan of a particular Goddess is done than mantra of that particular Goddess should be chanted daily. In an anushthan the total chanting of mantra has to be done1,25,000 times in 9 days. On the 9^th day after dividing 1,25,000 mantra with 9 days the ratio which is obtained and Dashansh Yagna has to be performed .i.e divide 1,25,000 by 9 and the answer which is got by us. Using that number we have to do the yagna.     

During anushthan certain rules must be followed:

No relation between husband/wife, bhoomishayan, eating satvik food, eating should be done once in a day, speak less, avoid meeting more people, should not talk more with strangers. Also the aasan and mala should be different, if any guru than seek his permission.

Eg If doing anushthan of Goddess Laxmi than if possible use pink asan, pink clothes, pink rose, incense stick should be of rose flavour.

P N: It is not necessary to chant the mantra upto 1,25, 000 times. Mantra can also be chanted 51,000 or 21,000 or 11,000 times or as per your requirement.
